GLAMGLOW ThirstyCleanse Daily Hydrating Cleanser is a unique ‘Mud to Foam’ cleanser that replenishes dry or dehydrated skin.
If you have normal, combination or dry skin, this is a fantastic cleanser for regular use or for those days your skin needs an extra drink. If your skin is extremely dry on a regular basis, this may be your new can’t-live-without daily cleanser.
It relieves dryness, dullness and leaves you with hydrated, radiant skin. It helps to minimize the look of fine lines and wrinkles by plumping up your skin. It also targets uneven texture.
To use, start with dry hands and face. Apply one pump to your face, massaging the product over each area. Next, wet your hands and continue massaging the product around your face. The product will change from a mud like texture to a foaming cleanser when you apply the water. Wet your hands again and the lather will build. When finished cleansing, rinse with warm water and pat dry.
You can also try applying the product to your hands first and working it into a lather before applying it to your face. Just start with a little product, wet your hands and then vigorously rub them together to get the lather to appear.
As someone with dry skin, I loved this cleanser. It really removed my makeup well (I can’t stand having to use a remover and a cleanser, so I want my cleanser to do both!) and it didn’t leave my skin feeling dry and tight – another pet peeve of mine. It leaves your skin radiant, soft and deeply hydrated.
My only issue with the product is the price. At $39 for a 5 oz. bottle, it’s a bit pricey compared to some other great cleansers I’ve tried. Overall, I do really like the product, but I don’t love it enough to justify the price. I would for sure buy it if it were less expensive. But for those with extra dry skin, who can’t seem to find a cleanser that works for them, this product may be just what you’ve been missing.
Oh, and they also have a smaller, 1 oz. size for $14, which is great for travel. I love when companies offer a travel size. When a product becomes a staple for me, I definitely want a travel sized option so that I can stay consistent with my beauty routine even when I’m out of town.
In case you didn’t know, you can head into any Sephora location and ask to try a sample of this before you buy the full size or the travel size. If it’s love at first sight with this product, then awesome. If you’re so so, or ‘love it, but not the price’ like me, I’d skip this and use your money to splurge on something else where you’ll get more bang for your buck – like an effective serum or moisturizer.
