Product Review: Clean & Clear Advantage 3-in-1 Exfoliating Cleanser

This is my favorite drugstore brand facial cleanser.

With a lot of cleansers, I feel like my makeup never fully comes off. Seriously, it happens with SO many cleansers. Even after using the product thoroughly, I can see makeup residue on my towel when I dry my face. You had one job!

With other products, they do fully remove makeup, but then my skin feels super tight and dry afterwards. For my normal-to-dry skin, this is a no go.

This cleanser is the best of both worlds. It gets all my makeup off, but my skin doesn’t feel stripped after using it.

It also gently exfoliates your skin, and it has 5% Benzoyl Peroxide which treats any existing acne and prevents new breakouts from happening. My skin has always been clear when I’ve used this product.

After using this cleanser, I love following it up with an eye cream or skin serum and then a rich moisturizer. My skin feels clean, refreshed, pampered and oh so soft.

I noticed that a few stores that used to carry it don’t have it in stock any more. But they still have it at stores like Target, Walgreens and CVS. You can also get it online if you can’t find it at a store near you.

Overall, this cleanser definitely a drugstore brand winner. At $6.29 (Target’s price) I can’t ask for a better cleanser. The price is great, the product is great, and my skin just feels so much better when I’m using it.

  • If used many items from this brand “clean and clear” and they work amazingly! So I would love to try this face wash especially because of my acne prone skin!

  • Hello, I would be most grateful if I could receive a sample of this since I need new products for my skin and one of them is a good exfoliator. If you would so kindly send me a sample, I’d be most grateful to you for being so generous.

I found this on Pretty Thrify’s site. So if you can and if you need my mailing information, please send me a reply and I will provide you with all the information you’ll need.

Thank you for your consideration in this matter.

    Kind regards,

    Maureen Boland

  • Thanks for this review! I have issues with cleansers making my skin feel tight and dry afterwards too and this sounds like it would be better. Will have to give it a try. πŸ™‚

  • It’s so frustrating when you can’t find a product you like. Sometimes you just want to be able to pick it up at your local drugstore.
